A concentric reducer joins pipes of different diameters on a common centreline, giving a symmetrical cone-shaped transition for vertical lines and pump discharge.
Buttweld fittings are bevelled at the ends and welded directly to the pipe, giving a continuous, leak-resistant joint with a smooth bore and low pressure drop. They are the standard choice for process piping above 2" NB and for high-pressure, high-temperature service.

An eccentric reducer joins pipes of different diameters with one flat side, preventing air pockets at pump suction and allowing drainage in pipe racks.
