Precision tube fittings are compression fittings that use front and back ferrules to grip the tube and form a leak-tight seal without welding, flaring or threading the tube. They are used on instrumentation, hydraulic, pneumatic, sampling and analyser lines.

Types of Precision Tube Fittings

Male Connector

A male connector joins tubing to a female-threaded port, with a compression end on one side and a male NPT or BSP thread on the other.

Female Connector

A female connector joins tubing to a male-threaded component, with a compression end and a female thread.

Union (Tube to Tube)

A straight union joins two tubes of the same OD with compression ends on both sides.

Reducing Union

A reducing union joins two tubes of different outside diameters.

Bulkhead Union

A bulkhead union passes tubing through a panel or bulkhead and is locked with a bulkhead nut.

Union Elbow

A union elbow joins two tubes at 90° with compression ends on both sides.

Union Tee

A union tee joins three tubes of the same OD at a 90° branch.

Union Cross

A union cross joins four tubes in a four-way configuration.

Male Elbow

A male elbow connects tubing to a female-threaded port at 90°.

Male Branch Tee

A male branch tee has two tube ends on the run and a male thread on the branch.

Tube Cap & Plug

Tube caps close the end of a tube and plugs close an open compression fitting port, used for testing, blanking and future connections.

Front & Back Ferrule Set

Front and back ferrules are the sealing and gripping rings of a double ferrule fitting; replacement sets are supplied for maintenance.
