Types of Olets

Weldolet

A weldolet is a buttweld branch outlet welded onto the run pipe; its bevelled outlet is butt-welded to the branch pipe for a full-flow, reinforced branch connection.

Sockolet

A sockolet is a branch outlet with a socket weld end, used for small-bore branches off a larger run pipe.

Threadolet

A threadolet is a branch outlet with a female-threaded (NPT) end for screwed branch connections, instruments and gauges.

Elbolet

An elbolet is a branch outlet contoured to fit the outside of a long or short radius elbow, used for thermowells and drains on elbows.

Latrolet

A latrolet is a branch outlet for 45° lateral connections, available with buttweld, socket weld or threaded outlet.
